PowerFab Sandwich Panels

Sandwich Panels have been popularly in demand in various sectors due to its light weight, ease in transportation
and installation along with being a great cost-effective solution. Over the years, Sandwich panels which are highly
versatile building materials, are being popularly used as roof panels in shopping malls, portable cabin, labour
camps, industrial sheds and even for cold storage such as freezers and chillers. Made from highly efficient,
premium quality construction materials, Power Fab’s sandwich panels offer superior insulation and durability along
with rich aesthetic appeal.
Our sandwich panels are manufactured in compliance with ISO standards and are available in various foam core
thicknesses to meet diverse project requirements. We offer three primary types based on insulation material:
Polyurethane (PU), Polyisocyanurate (PIR), and Rockwool sandwich panels, all designed with a three-layer
construction comprising an outer sheet, inner sheet, and insulation core, ensuring excellent thermal and sound
insulation, waterproofing, fire resistance, and load-bearing performance.
Among these, PUR sandwich panels provide exceptional thermal insulation due to their low thermal conductivity,
helping maintain stable indoor temperatures and reduce energy consumption. Despite being lightweight, they offer
excellent structural strength and durability against harsh weather, humidity, and UV exposure, ensuring long
service life with minimal maintenance. Their prefabricated design enables faster installation, reducing labour costs
and project timelines, while DCD-approved fire resistance enhances safety. PIR sandwich panels, featuring a rigid
Polyisocyanurate core between metal sheets, offer superior thermal insulation and enhanced fire resistance,
making them ideal for industrial, commercial, and residential applications, particularly in hot climates like the
Middle East. They are also highly durable, chemical-resistant, easy to install, and cost-effective due to their
longevity and low maintenance.
For wall applications, PUR panels provide thermally efficient, structurally strong, and aesthetically appealing
building envelopes, supporting better climate control, quicker project execution, and flexible interior layouts.
Similarly, PIR wall panels deliver outstanding insulation, high fire resistance (B1 rating, DCD-approved), excellent
dimensional stability, and a lightweight yet robust structure, making them a preferred choice for modern
construction.
In terms of specifications, the panels feature top skin profiles of 35/200 mm and GMI 45/250 mm, with thickness
starting from 50 mm. The overall panel width is 1050 mm, with a covering width of 1000 mm, and lengths can
extend up to 12 meters. The top and bottom sheets range from 0.40 mm to 0.90 mm in thickness, allowing
flexibility based on project needs.
Our sandwich panels offer multiple advantages, including fast and easy installation, attractive building appearance,
air and water tightness, high fire resistance, excellent thermal insulation, cost efficiency, and a superior strength-to-
weight ratio. They are manufactured using premium materials such as aluminium alloys (3105, 3003, 1100, 1050)
with pre-painted or mill-finish coatings in H16 temper. Galvanized steel coils comply with ASTM A653 standards
with zinc coatings from G60 to G90 (180–275 GSM), while Alu-Zinc materials meet ASTM A792 standards with
coatings from Z80 to Z220. The coating system includes a top layer of 5-micron primer with 20-micron paint and a
bottom layer of 5-micron primer with 7-micron paint, ensuring excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and long-
lasting performance.
